स्पोर्टस न्यूज डेस्क।। SAFF चैंपियनशिप का फाइनल मुकाबला भारत ने जीत लिया है. इस तरह भारतीय टीम ने 9वीं बार SAFF चैंपियनशिप जीती है. सुनील छेत्री की अगुवाई वाली भारतीय टीम ने पेनल्टी शूटआउट में कुवैत को 5-4 से हराया। इससे पहले निर्धारित समय तक दोनों टीमें 1-1 से बराबरी पर थीं, जिसके बाद मैच अतिरिक्त समय में चला गया। लेकिन अतिरिक्त समय में भी दोनों टीमों के खिलाड़ी गोल नहीं कर सके. इसके बाद मैच का फैसला पेनाल्टी शूटआउट से हुआ।
